2. Hosting and Website Delivery

Refs.gg is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you access the website, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This may include your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request, traffic routing data, browser and device settings, and network or security information.

3. Ahrefs Web Analytics

Refs.gg uses Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors move through the website. Ahrefs may process the page URL, referrer, browser language, user agent information, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. It may also count page views and link clicks, including clicks on listed platforms.

According to Ahrefs, its standard web analytics service does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. Ahrefs combines the IP address and user agent with a random salt to create a temporary hash for daily visitor counts. Ahrefs states that it does not store the raw IP address and deletes the old salt after 24 hours.

4. Cookies

Refs.gg does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. Ahrefs Web Analytics is used in its standard configuration without cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies that are required for security or traffic management if the relevant protection features are active.

Websites opened through an external link may use their own cookies under their own policies. More information about cookies used by Cloudflare services is available in the Cloudflare cookie documentation .

5. Affiliate Links and External Websites

Some links on Refs.gg are affiliate links. The destination URL may contain referral information so the platform can attribute a visit or registration to Refs.gg. We may receive a commission if you use one of these links.

Ahrefs Web Analytics may count the outgoing click before you leave Refs.gg. Once you open another website, that website processes information under its own privacy policy. Refs.gg does not control its data practices or cookies.

6. Contact by Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information to answer your request and, where needed, to keep business or legal records. The legal basis depends on the request and may be Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Please do not send passwords, payment details, wallet keys, account credentials, or other sensitive information by email.

7. Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, to protect the website, or to meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the settings and retention practices of Ahrefs. Technical and security data processed by Cloudflare is retained according to its service settings and policies.

Contact emails are deleted when they are no longer needed unless they must be kept for legal or record keeping reasons.

8. International Processing

Cloudflare and Ahrefs operate internationally. Information processed through their services may therefore be handled outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy information linked above provides more details about processing locations and the safeguards they use.

9. Your Rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may also have the right to restrict processing, receive certain data in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
